Big Science is an art project by Martin White, the result of research into the freewheeling Norwegian psychiatrist Carl Wilhelm Sem-Jacobsen, Big Science is serialised across publications, posters, stickers, exhibitions, lecture performances.

Big Science Issue #01 is currently available in a limited, hand assembled and signed edition of 100. Big Science Issue #02 will be released in Autumn 2022.
Big Science Volume 01 is an upcoming solo exhibition to be presented at UKS (Young Artist’s Society) in Oslo in Spring 2023.

Martin White (B. 1978, Sydney, Australia) holds an MFA from Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2017), BFA (Hon) from RMIT (2014) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dramatic Arts (Directing) from the Victorian College of the Arts (2002).
Prior to his artistic practice, Martin has directed performance, film and television. Alongside his artistic practice, Martin has published essays and reviews, sat on award and grant panels, worked as a researcher, and taught.

Solo / Duo shows include Oslo Kunstforening (2019) and Tokonoma at Melk (2018). Group shows include Høstutstillingen (2021) and Norsk Teknisk Museum ‘Making Sense Together’ (2017).
